Hey, I really like them, have several colors…I just use my fingers to build color…frankly I like them better than the mousse… and I am very very pale as well…always in search of a good, cheap creme blush, and this is pretty good for the dollar….it’s not Nars, but hey, what do you expect? Just saying! Love your site….Thanks for all your insight.

I have noticed with many of the whipped or airy blushes that tends to be an issue. These in some ways remind me of the maybeline whipped shadow and blushes from when I was in high school.

Hopefully eventually a company will figure out a way to get the texture with more pigmentation and easier application.

Katie, no worries! I work in the animal field so animals tend to be closer to the forefront of my mind. I simply get frustrated with the companies (not the blogges) that claim ecologically friendly practices when there are gaping holes in their procedures.

On the whole, I do enjoy your reviews though, and look foreward to continued posts.

Thank you so much for this review. I will probably give up on my interest in these. I still don’t think they’ve arrived over here. I was definitely interested for the novelty value but the lack of colour pay-off is very disappointing.

I’m sorry that you were disappointed with my review. According to my research, these products consist mostly of natural ingredients, as indicated by the low placement of synthetic ingredients on the product labels.

I was not aware of the ethical issues associated with palm-derived products, so thanks for letting me know about that. I will try to be more conscious of similar issues in the future. Thanks for your input!

I wish you had done your homework more. I did a review of these when they first came out. They only have the tiniest amount of ‘natural’ ingredients. Additionally those are primarily palm derived, that means these do more harm to the environment than good including deforestation, clear cutting the forest (or using burns) and beatings of orangutans by workers and locals.

Wanted to post that I tried this out and although I like the consistency of the scrub, the smell is very cloying and a total turnoff for me. Will stick to orange version that is similar but more gritty and doesn’t smell bad.

That’s pretty much what I said to myself after seeing how well it worked! I think sometimes we get so wrapped up in the new products that we forget to check out the ‘oldies but goodies’.
