While I was on vacation last month I decided that Zoya is awesome and I should buy more of their polishes. They have a tremendous range of colors and the polish often lasts over a week on my nails without chipping. I spotted a Buy 3 Get 3 Free deal in my Zoya account and decided to check out some new colors.
Here are the first three in comparison to OPI Mod-ern Girl, an old favorite. Today I’ve got swatches of Kylie2 (the one on the left) to share. Note: Zoya’s website says the polish is called Kylie2, but the bottle just says Kylie. No idea where that 2 came from, but I’m going with it.
Kylie2 is a hot orange-red creme that is very opaque in 3 thin coats. I tried 2 thicker coats and there was some unevenness, so definitely go with the 3-coat route.
It brings to mind a retro red that would go well with a little black dress and cute heels, but it’s also got enough orange to be casual for summer. I haven’t been a big fan of red polishes in the past; I think this one might change my mind.
A bright, punchy orange-red creme that costs $8.50 on Zoya.com
