I think it’s safe to say that based on this chart, I will definitely be bringing Clinique Moisture Surge on my vacation and leaving the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua at home. Even my mom (a longstanding Chanel customer) agreed that Clinique’s tinted moisturizer feels and looks better on the skin. Add that to the fact that Clinique costs about half as much and you’ve got a winner.
Any suggestions for products to compare next time?

I’ve really been loving the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua even though it’s a bit too dark. Now you have me interested in trying out the Clinique!
Thanks for the comparison review. I have been loving the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua but I went though the first bottle so quickly! I wonder if this would be longer lasting because the coverage is a little more apparent.
Agree! I think I used up about 75% of the Chanel in less than a month because I found myself applying 2-3 layers of product. With the Clinique I use a light layer all over and then another light layer through the center of my face.
I really love both!
I’ve been loving the Vitalumiere Aqua so far, but I’ll definitely give the Clinique a shot!
What a great comparison review – love the organization of it! I would love to see more posts like this, especially for other foundations.
I’m surprised the Vitalumiere Aqua has not worn well for you. I put it on at 6am before a flight to Vegas and 18 hours later it still looked great. I do use a primer before applying, but I don’t think that made a difference as my other foundations separate after 3-8 hours. Goes to show you how personal foundation can be.
I really like the Chanel foundation that I also dedicated a post to it.. I don’t find it to be sheer.. For me, I think it’s light – med coverage.. It feels so lightweight and is long lasting on me.. I think it’s great for summer..
But now I’m really curious to try the Clinique moisture surge..
Amazing comparison! Thank you for that hun
Just wanted to stop in and thank you for this review and comparison! I had purchased the Chanel but found that it broke me out, and because I thought the Clinique would be too much moisture, I wasn’t really considering it. After reading your post, I decided to give the Clinique a try and I LOVE it! I usually wear a powder foundation, but in the summer and for travel I prefer a liquid, and this one is working out perfectly and is NOT breaking me out! Thank you!!!!
You’re welcome! I’m so glad you enjoy it. I’m just about done with my bottle and already ordered another because I’m not sure what I’d do without it!
Just wish to say your article is as astounding. The clearness to your post is just nice and that i can think you are an expert in this subject. Well along with your permission allow me to seize your feed to stay updated with imminent post. Thanks 1,000,000 and please keep up the rewarding work.
