MAC Scandelicious Kissable Lipcolour

Big news. HUGE news! I wore a bold lip out in public and I didn’t feel self-conscious! I know some of you are scoffing at my wimpiness… but the rest of you are wondering which lip product was awesome enough to warrant such a move. It was MAC Kissable Lipcolour in Scandelicious ($18).

This line is AMAZING. I never thought I would find a lip product that is both moisturizing and long-lasting but alas, I have. On unlined, unprimed lips I’m getting a good 3-4 hours of wear with very little fading. The product stays moist but not wet like a gloss, nor does it settle into the lips like a lipstick. Truly a perfect hybrid.

Unfortunately it’s limited edition and this was the only shade I found myself drawn to. A little bird tells me that MAC may be bringing back a similar product in the near future. Can’t wait!

Apologies for the lack of product photos… I took the lip swatch picture last week and I don’t have the product with me at the moment. I’d wait, but these are selling out so fast! The tube looks exactly like it does in the promo shots… thicker than an eyeliner but thinner than a mascara tube. There’s a doe foot applicator that works well even with this bold color. I don’t find myself needing a lip brush at all.

Supposedly Scandelicious is the one to the right of Peacocky (the blue one)... I think MAC needs to work on their promo images

Scandelicious is currently available on the MAC website, but a few other shades have sold out. Try calling your local store or counter if there’s one you really want. And if you want to know how the real product looks, check out my swatches of the entire collection.

I believe this definitely worth checking out. Have you tried Kiss Me Tonight by Philosophy? It’s lip treatment for those who have incessantly dry lips (like mine). I did a product review. Take a look when you get a chance. I would love some feedback.

Thank you! I was wearing The Balm TimeBalm concealer, Senna Mineral Mix foundation (reviewed recently), Smashbox Blush Rush in Bare, and on the eyes just Bobbi Brown Black Plum gel liner and some mascara, forget which one. Oh, and Laura Mercier Brow Definer in Warm.
