Sunshine Double Dose Blush is a gorgeous peachy blush/highlighter duo, just in time for… two more months of winter

I’m not normally a highlighter-wearer because the pores on my cheeks really don’t need any emphasizing, thankyouverymuch. This one may have converted me. It’s got this luminous, pearly effect that’s not in any way glittery or frosty. I love that it’s peachy instead of white, so it’s more natural looking.
The blush side is almost as lovely. I’d describe the shade as a satin peachy rose. Or is it a rosy peach? Who knows. The texture is quite nice, but I found myself needing several layers for it to be seen, and with my fair skin that’s a rarity. In person it showed up well after a few layers, however on camera it didn’t pop.

It’s a little hard to get at the shades because the compact is rather small (the whole thing is about the size of a MAC blush pan). I ended up using a MAC 109 for the blush and a MAC 224 for the highlighter. You could also use a larger brush and mix the two shades together.
As much as I love this little duo, I’m disappointed by how little it is. At $20.00 I expect more than 2.4g of product… for reference that’s about 25% less $$ than NARS, but 50% less product. Still, it’s so pretty!

Thank you, me either! I need to write a post about my skin care regime changes.
What lipstick are you wearing?
Senna Lip Sync in A La Mode, which I reviewed the day after this post went up
Wow, the price point is a bit of a shocker. It looks like a nice colour combo, but I’m sure the tiny pan sizes would get annoying after a while!
