I recently placed an order with MAC Pro and was able to finally get my hands on some of the pro-only products they sell. (Don’t forget that anyone can order by calling 1-800-866-6464, even if you aren’t a MAC Pro member)
At the top of my wishlist was Cantaloupe blush, which people always say is worth the trouble of finding. I agree! Here’s a comparison with MAC Tenderling, which isn’t particularly close in color but hopefully gives you a reference point.

MAC Tenderling and MAC Cantaloupe
Most of the swatches I saw online prior to purchasing were on light to medium skin, and in those swatches Cantaloupe appears to be a beautiful peach. On me it pulls more orange, but not in an unpleasant way. I dare say that with the right lip color, it really works!

Wearing MAC Cantaloupe Blush and See Sheer lipstick
The product itself is very pigmented (as are most MAC Pro shades) and lasted well on top of liquid foundation. I could see myself wearing a lot of this shade during the late spring and throughout summer, when I wear lots of coral lipsticks. On even slightly darker skintones (darker than NC/NW20), I think it would be more versatile. It ain’t easy being pale, people!

MAC Dusk CCB, MAC Hush CCB, MAC Cantaloupe Blush
Overall I think this is a good purchase – if you’re making a MAC Pro or will be near a MAC Pro store anyway, I would buy it. It’s a really beautiful color and the quality of the product is top notch.

OK I have a question for you. As far as eyeshadows go, and most blushes; I have most of the permenant line from MAC. I was interested in buying pro colors, and know I can call to place an order, but HOW DO I KNOW WHAT PRO COLORS THERE ARE? I can’t access the pro website, because I don’t have a pro card. Any tips? Thanks.
Yeah, that’s sort of a problem. When MAC redesigned the website a few months ago this is what happened. A friend of mine has a Pro account and let me use it to see the products and pick what I wanted. Maybe you can contact the customer service via livechat and ask how they intend to deal with this?
Here is a recent blog post with a list of MAC Pro items that you might find useful http://mackarrie.blogspot.com/2010/11/mac-pro-product-list.html
looks amazing. I’ve heard good things about this blush from Tiffany D.
See Sheer is one of my summer favs, and looks great on you!
Ha, Tiffany is actually from the same area as me! It looks more pink on her because her skin is a little bit darker… it always amazes me how different things look depending on the wearer’s skintone. I’m planning to review See Sheer soon – I’m loving it as well!
Pretty colour, and it looks very good on you, agree that it’s summery! Good name too, it does remind me of juicy melons…
