Haus of Gloi Saft Ernte Bubbling Scrub

Another treat from the Haus of Gloi! I already reviewed the Bubbling Scrub formula here, so this review will mostly be for the Saft Ernte scent.

Saft Ernte (which means harvest juices in German) is part of the limited Halloween collection. I’m not sure if they’ll bring back the same scents next year… I really hope so because I regret missing out on Pumpkin Queen! As I’m writing this, Saft Ertne Bubbling Scrub and Body Butter are still for sale on the site, so I hope if you’re interested you can still get one.

The scent is described as a merry drink of harvest and glowing with warmth: peach juice simmering with sweet spices, pumpkin, silken hazelnut cream and made completely curious with a drop of orange blossom water. When I smell it, I get a lot of creamy peach, a good bit of orange, and the tiniest hint of sweet spices. I actually thought it might be a bit too sweet when I first smelled it. I’m glad I gave it another chance because it’s really lovely on the skin.

Aren't the labels beautiful? I love the attention to detail!

Bubbling Scrubs are normally $8.00 for 6 oz., however only the smaller sample jars are left in this scent. I believe they are $3.50 for 2 oz.

Grade: B+

Hey, Katie- bored at work, thought I would catch up on the site. After reading this and a bunch of other review, I totally want to try at least the bubbling scrub (just the title is delightful!). I was wondering if you knew much about the different scents….I don’t like anything to heavy, mostly just “clean” tyoe smells. I was looking at Troika and Apothecary- any thoughts?

I reviewed Troika last week and would highly recommend that if you’re looking for a simple, clean smell. It’s a little sweet right from the jar but once you rinse off it’s very light and clean. And yes, the bubbling scrub name is lovely!!

Okay, I am going to go with Troika! Thanks, Katie, never would have heard about them without you!

Ps, I don’t only read your site when I am bored at work- I hope that didn’t come across as rude or anything.

Well, I ended up getting a sample of apothecary too. The old books bit in the description and the amazing prices!
