I’ve seen a lot of people express interest in these, so I figured I should hit the counter and swatch them all! For the most part, the quality is fabulous and the shadows are smooth, pigmented, and easy to blend. I noted the few exceptions at the bottom of this post.
NARS Eyeshadow Duos cost $32 and are available worldwide. Most are powder shadows, but Burn It Blue, Camargue, Madagascar, and Summer Time are all cream shadows.
Kilimanjaro, Iceland, Bellissima, All About Eve, Madagascar
Summer Time, Camargue, Burn It Blue, Madrague, Tokyo
Indian Summer, Key Largo, Windstar, Portobello, Star Sailor
Rated R, Silk Road, Elsa, Alhambra, Kalahari
Kuala Lampur, Isolde, Earth Angel, Persepolis, Violetta
Underworld, Habanera, Egea, Mediteranee, Sugarland
India Song, Pandora, Jolie Poupee, Brumes, Cleo
Taiga, Scorching Sun, Charade, Cordura, Paris
Caravaggio, Demon Lover, South Pacific, Misfit, Surabaya
Brousse, Blade Runner, Eurydice
Strangely, the Demon Lover shadow that was so useless in my Pleasures of Paris palette is amazing in its original duo form. Out of all 48 duos, I would say only Taiga, Portobello, and the left side of India Song were questionable.
